Find me on:

Dental Conferences should be seen as an investment. They often involve out of town travel, time away from the office, and in-cure travel expenses. However, the benefits outweigh the costs. Conferences create opportunities for networking with fellow dentists. Networking allows you to learn from other dentists including what they're doing and why. You can also broaden your resource pool and create new partnerships.

Teaching/training sessions and lectures are normally in the schedule for conferences. These are an opportunity to learn best practices, stay up-to-date on new technology and have the opportunity to ask questions. This training time often counts as Continued Education credits.

At conferences there are often set aside times or areas for dentists to meet with venders. Meeting with venders keeps you up-to-date on available products, provides opportunities to create partnerships, and sometimes gives you early access or special conference offers. This keeps you ahead of the curve in the industry!
